Hello queero, would you please introduce yourself to our viewers?
R : Yes why not! My name is Rudra Sharma and I identify as a trans man. I am 29 years old and work as an Accounts and HR Executive for an NGO. In 2014, I completed an MBA in finance and human resources. I am a detail-oriented, kind, and loyal person. My hobbies are traveling, biking, and listening to music. I’m an ambivert, an orophile, and a pluviophile.
That’s awesome Rudra. You seem to have a plethora of elements within you. What do you pursue as your profession?
R : As a career, I chose finance. I’ve always been good with numbers and like being organized. Thus, this occupation fits my personality because I am detail-oriented and ambivert.
What would you consider as your biggest achievement so far in your journey?
R : Being alive and fighting all the ups and downs, not committing suicide after realizing I am a trans person, and going through difficult surgeries, is my biggest success, I feel.
You’re indeed an inspiration to many, Rudra! But who’s that one role model you look up to?
R : I don’t believe it’s one person. My role model is someone who has stood up for themselves, fought their own battles, and refused to give up.
Lastly, as we conclude this interview, what would be your message for the community?
R : My message to the community is to not think you are less than anybody else; you have every right to live your life the way you want to live it, to make bold decisions, and to live the wonderful and happy life you deserve. Please also take good care of your mental and emotional wellness.
Well, thank you so much Rudra for sharing us your story. We hope it provides inspiration and strength to anyone out there who is looking for that one ray of hope..
